Dance the Nite Away

30July - A real test for us. A full non-stop 3 hr gig.

The event was organised by the Malay Activities Executive Committee (MAEC) of Nanyang CC. EPISODIC's duty was to get the audience come to the dance floor with our non-stop danceable hits. We played the ever-popular dangdut numbers, latin, pop, cha-cha etc. We also invited bassist, Rafi Thai, from popular local comedian-band Unsangkarable to perform a few songs with us.

Let me tell you guys, there was extreme pressure, wanting to perform to the best of our abilities, at the same time putting up a good show for everyone, and of course making sure no hiccups along the way.

The event was named "Get Set GO...oooyang". At first the audience was "shy-shy" so Adik, as front-liner, have to persistently coax everyone to warm up the dance floor. Not an easy thing to do, ya Adik..? Nevertheless, the floor was soon filled with the maddened crowd, dancing to the beats of evergreen numbers such as La Bamba, C'mon Lets Go and Kuda Hitam to mind-blowing dangdut hits such as Terajana and Penasaran.
