Our First Fan Mail !!!

Our Very First Fan Mail came in on 4 Sep!!

It read :

Firstly, let us congratulate all of you for displaying such
wonderful performance. What amazes us most is the dedication and passion that came from all of you. And we understand episodic has just began only a few months ago. Such potential. Last night was the first time we heard episodic sang. It was indeed avery pleasant treat and right at our
doorstep too! We heard you sangEnglish and Malay songs and we wanted to express our feedback that youshould also sing Chinese songs. But today Hamzah has answered withhis Chinese number. Great! What can I say? but Syabas! Looking forward to hear more live performances in our neighbourhood!

There were also curious questions like these : (We hope to be able to answer them to the best of our abilities)

Q: Did you have formal trainings in music?
Ans : All of the band members have different music backgrounds. Some of us have had formal training, some on their own. All have individual bands before, some have won band competitions, did an album. Some of us did freelance in the entertainment line, etc. In short, each of us have had extensive exposure to music, some of whom had more than 10 years of experience. But most importantly for us is Focus. With focus, ANYTHING is possible.

Q : Are you going to keep to a Malay-only band?
Ans : Not really. We do have some non-Malay friends who are interested in playing with us but currently we have a strong and dedicated team. Perhaps a second band in future? :P

Q : Do you do performances on request?
Ans : The band has only been formed in February this year and we are currently collating repertoires for upcoming performances, in different languages and genres. Do give us a bit of time to establish this and insyaallah we will be ready to bring the house down with any song upon request. We also hope to get exposure from outside of our constituency.

Q : Are there any charges?
Ans : These have not been determined yet.

Q : When and where is your next performance?
Ans : So far, we have been having back-to-back performances since April. We think its time to take a break, more so with Ramadhan around the corner. Meanwhile according to our calendar of events, we are booked for the Countdown celebration with Nanyang at the end of this year.
